The Amethyst Institute of Vocational Learning and Arcane Research, often abbreviated to AIVLAR and more colloquially known as the Amethyst Institute, is an organization founded in Cyruth, Ostia, as a major center of learning and knowledge. It was founded by Kayde in the Age of Zeal, year 4. It functions as both a research organization and a university, supplying funding and support for many studious endeavors as well as providing resources for learning trades, magic, and history.
