Rial

Rial is the primary currency used in Simuhay, taking the form of crystalline leaves. There are four known varieties of rial:

  • White (least valuable)
  • Green (each worth 10 white rial)
  • Blue (each worth 10 green rial, or 100 white rial)
  • Purple (each worth 10 blue rial, or 1000 white rial)

Rial grows on trees with thick oak-like trunks and thin, brittle branches that often collapse under their own weight. As such, “leaves” is often used as a colloquial term for the currency.
