Rath seemed only to care for one thing. His mind was so transfixed on it and it alone. He is dead and gone now, but the way he acted haunts my mind still. It was stated in his document that he formed some kind of contract with an unknown being in exchange for his power and his unending life, and it ended with him in that state… I shudder to think of it. If I do not find a way out of my own pact with Baphomet, I fear the same might come of me.
