Frelians

A species of anthropomorphic avians that once called Helios their home. Many years ago, however, some of the Frelians staged a massive heist, stealing ships, technology, weaponry, and even Solarian eggs from the floating city. Since then, the species as a whole have been unwelcome in Helios, with the Meridian Faith in particular objecting strongly to their presence in any capacity; recently, however, the Stormchasers had no objecting to admitting one injured Frelian into medical care.

There are currently two known groups of surviving Frelians. One of them, a nomadic clan calling themselves the Frelian Seekers, continues to ceaselessly travel the Astral Sea to this day on the ships stolen from Helios in an age past. Another group - hatched in Helios from the Frelian eggs left behind in the grand heist - constitute a makeshift thieves' guild unwillingly headed by Sylas. This group was later rescued from the city by traveling adventurers and relocated to Cyruth in Ostia.
