Caeloraan

A species given life in the wake of the Mana's ascension, born from Kaia's tears. They are a typically horned race (though not universally), bearing white or gray coats of fur and eyes with a depth and glow to them - as though from moonlight. After their creation, they gave graciousness to Kaia and tended to the land. From this, many being sprang forth into existence, with which they shared their knowledge.

With these species, the Caeloraan built a prosperous civilization that lasted up until The Shattering. They attempted to create a device to span the distances across the Astral Plane which they named the Genesis Kiln. This desperate plan to reach those lost during this tragedy failed and was abandoned. Their civilization soon fell into ruin, leaving behind only scattered villages.

History passed down in Helios, especially among members of the Meridian Faith, claims that the ill-advised usage of the Genesis Kiln invited a dangerous curse into the Caeloraan blood - one member of the species supposedly carries it at any given time. Domiri Canire believes Vex is its current bearer, and attempted to murder him to stamp it out.
